Ms Lau Hwei Lynn
Ms Lau brings more than 30 years of international financial services experience, specializing in alternative asset management, cross-border capital markets and strategic scaling of global investment platforms across Asia and Europe. She has an established track record of operating within complex regulatory environments, managing fund governance and leading institutional growth initiatives.
Ms Lau served as Managing Director and CFO, Southeast Asia, at Warburg Pincus Singapore Pte. Ltd. from March 2024 to June 2026, where she partnered with the Asia real estate management team to drive investment portfolio management and capital raising initiatives. Prior to that, she was CFO and Board Director at 65 Equity Partners, a Temasek-backed global investment firm. As part of the founding leadership team, she built the firm's global financial infrastructure, fund operations and risk management frameworks, including its inaugural ESG assessment framework. Ms Lau previously held senior leadership positions at American International Group (AIG), Legal & General Group plc and Standard Life plc (now known as Aberdeen Group plc), having worked and lived across Singapore, China, and the United Kingdom during her tenure with these global institutions.
Further reinforcing her corporate governance and sustainability credentials, she served as an independent director of Butterfield Trust (Asia) Limited, part of the NYSE-listed Butterfield Group. She also continues to serve on the Innovations Constituency Delegation of the Stop TB Partnership, a global health organization hosted by the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) and headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland.
Ms Lau holds an Executive MBA from London Business School and a Bachelor of Accountancy (Second Upper Honours) from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. She is a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants.
